Hard to tell around here but the fall colors are in full swing in the north country of Minnesota and Wisconsin. They are on the move south but it will be 2-3 more weeks before the peak arrives here. I'm wondering if the brightness may be muted around much of this region with the wet wonky weather we've experienced. Any thoughts on that or where it's best to see the show, be sure to add them in the comment section below. Pictures welcome too. All you need to do is become a member of the forum. One concern some parts of the Plains and Upper Midwest will have is tree damage from heavy wet snow that falls Friday and Saturday. The leaves are still plentiful and the added weight will put undo stress on trees and power lines. In fact, power companies in parts of North and South Dakota are on high alert for major outages by the weekend. I'll have more on the storm in my next post late Tuesday evening. Roll weather...TS
