On Nov. 17, 2013 a violent EF-4 tornado ripped through the town of Washington, Illinois devastating the community and killing one person. Learn more about the event and see the incredible tornado video. Presented by National Weather Service Lincoln meteorologist Edward Shimon.

In the next few years new tornado warnings will be utilized by the National Weather Service which could increase the tornado warning lead time from minutes to potentially hours. Learn about the experimental warnings and new changes coming to the SPC in 2019. Presented by Patrick Marsh from the SPC.

Jeff Piotrowski has witnessed more than 900 tornadoes. One of the most memorable was the May 22, 2011 Joplin tornado that killed 160 people. Jeff covered the storm as it went through the city and immediately offered aid to victims. Hear his incredible story and watch the unforgettable video.
