SNOW SO FAR....

Snow has been falling all day long on Sunday. There has been heavy snow, strong winds, white out conditions, thundersnow... and it continues.

Here are the snowfall totals so far out of Iowa, as of 4 pm:

NOTE: The north side of this map is showing more snow than has fallen, there has been little, if any snow near and north of Cedar Rapids.

On top of that there has been strong winds through the afternoon. Here are the top wind gusts from today:

Those winds have led to white out conditions across southern Iowa. There's also a sharp cutoff of nearly a foot of snow to nothing... in 30 miles.
