A message of thanks from Terry,
Hello everyone. I've managed to get a few more subscribers together on the road to meet my fund raising goal. (only 120 more to go). As you know this is a voluntary subscription fee and it's very special when any of you digs into your funds out of respect for the product. Going forward, my goal is to be my own boss and control my future without the demands and constraints of the corporate world. I want to grow this site, add new features, and share my passion for weather with you. So it is that I ask for a voluntary fee of $12 dollars a year ($1 dollar per month) to make it happen. The future of the site is dependent on your contributions. We hope you see the value and hard work that exists in the daily content. Rest assured there are new features that are in development that I think you will enjoy. Thank you so much for your consideration and help. To subscribe click on the secure green box below. THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND
The 18z run of the EURO is in the house and it has an important trend to pass along. The big development is the southeast push of the heavy snow band out of Iowa and into Illinois. That jog would certainly reduce snow totals over that portion of my area. This was hinted at in the 12z run and now the EURO has gone all in. Take a look.
The ensemble control made up of 51 member is not as ambitious on amounts and that's to be expected with the wider range of solutions. It certainly shows the the same trend though with that heavy band coming out of Missouri near Quincy and running northeast through Peoria into Chicago.
Of course the GFS is still out there on the ledge showing something substantially different. Wouldn't you know. Tah dah....
Being the snow freak that I am I would love to see the GFS verify but kids that just ain't in the cards in the world I live in. I have to throw it out, or at least lean heavily toward the EURO. So that's what I'm doing. We'll get one more crack at consistency tomorrow and then the party is on, especially over in Illinois. Meantime, I would plan on something like the first two graphics are showing for snowfall. That's the latest and greatest for now. Roll weather...TS
