A BRIEF FLING WITH SPRING...
We've been stuck in winter for a while now. Slushy snow is coating the grass and you still need the heavy coat. Temperatures will warm up this week... but only briefly.
Monday will still be cloudy and chilly:
We're back above freezing on Tuesday with sunny skies:
Wednesday will start sunny, but turn windy. The wind will pick up and help send temperatures up above normal:
Winds will be around 30-40 mph through the afternoon:
The gusty winds and warmth will be ahead of a storm that moves in late Thursday, bringing in rain:
Temperatures remain mild Thursday as the storm comes through...
Colder air will start to wrap in Thursday night into Friday and there's the chance for a wintry mix. This could change since we're 4-5 days out from the storm, so there could be changes in snowfall potential:
Regardless, colder air will move in and temperatures are boom... back in the 30s on Friday:
So enjoy the mini spring fling.... winter is not done with us yet!
