FEELING AND LOOKING LIKE SUMMER....

We've gotten the summertime warmth and humidity and now we've got some storms to talk about. Some parts of Iowa have had some early morning thunderstorms over the weekend, but the higher chances come during the work week.

Memorial Day itself will be mostly dry, hot, humid, and a bit breezy.

Humidity once again will be in the sticky gross range:

Winds will be gusting out of the south around 30 to 35 mph. And then in the afternoon the first round of storms arrives. Those storms will continue into Tuesday morning toward my local area:

The risk for severe weather will be greatest on Monday in northwest Iowa into Minnesota.

And then shifts to the east on Tuesday:

The storms may fizzle some Tuesday morning and there could be additional activity along the front in the afternoon and evening in eastern Iowa, western Illinois and northern Missouri:

Drier and cooler air will move in for Wednesday -- sending temperatures closer to normal:

Have a safe Memorial Day
