HEAVY RAIN TOMORROW NIGHT

I have been trying to get a post up in my usual blog format which involves WIX, a website builder. For some reason, Facebook will not allow me to transfer my blog from WIX. You can't speak to anyone at Facebook to solve the issue (they have no human support system). As a result, until I can solve the mystery, this is the best I can currently do to inform you of the rain event Friday afternoon through early Saturday

My most trusted product the Euro, has 2 to nearly 4 inches of rain for the bulk of my area. I've included the latest EURO just in. Since this is just model guidance, it's nothing more than one models suggestion of how much rain is possible.(and where). Various models still have different ideas about the location of the maximum rain swath.

My feeling for most areas is the low end is 1” and the high end 3” (some locally higher amounts could be found where training occurs in the heaviest rain band). Again, to my dismay, there is still quite a bit of discrepancy where the heaviest amounts end up falling and I would prefer to see more consistent solutions. That said, while I like 1.5 to 2” in as a general rule, I could see higher amounts, especially in the N/NE half of my area. (see the EURO amounts included). Since we have 24 hours to go before the event, things could still shift a little bit in tomorrow mornings guidance. That said, I’m convinced most of us are in for a pretty healthy rain. Hopefully it falls slow enough we avoid issues with flash flooding. Recent dry weather should really help. Roll weather...TS
