A MESSAGE FROM TERRY...

Dear friends of the site, I still need some help. My 2021 fund raiser to keep TSwails.com going is a bit short of where it needs to be. Despite 375 voluntary $12 dollar donations I still do not have my operating expenses covered. My $12 dollar asking fee is the cost of a pizza or a dozen donuts. Those are gone in a day, TSwails.com is here for you all year long. It's a heck of a value and all I'm asking is that if you enjoy the site and see value in it, that you please consider a voluntary subscription. I'm asking $12.00 dollars a year. That's $1 dollar a month or 3 cents a blog if you consider the fact there were 450 posts issued over the past year. The site requires a significant commitment of time and resources, every donation, whatever the size is deeply appreciated. I just need a little help to cover the expenses. If in any way you are unsatisfied with the content of TSwails, you can take advantage of my unconditional refund. Click on the link below if you can help the cause or need additional information. I thank you for your support and consideration. Terry

There haven't been many drops lately, outside of some very light snow/flurries, and there won't be much in the short term. We will continue to have temperature swings, meaning fronts are moving through, but they won't be producing much in the way of precipitation.

Temperatures were in the 50s Saturday but we'll start to get knocked back on Sunday as a cold front moves through:

The front will be pretty weak in terms of precipitation. This is due to a lack of moisture in the atmosphere. There may be some sprinkles here and there but not enough to break out the umbrellas:

It will turn breezy with wind gusts as high as 30 mph at times. The winds will die down late Sunday night and temperatures will drop quickly with cooler air coming in behind the front:

Monday will be a chilly day as a result with sunny skies and temperatures running below normal. Most highs will only be in the low to mid 30s.

By Wednesday temperatures are warming up again ahead with a ridge in the upper levels of the atmosphere:

At the surface, a significant push of warmer air ahead of the next storm system (you can see the trough in blue coming in from the west in the image above). Just look at those highs Wednesday though. Great for holiday travel well into the 50s.

And by Thursday temperatures go right back down in the 30s. Round and round be go with these ups and downs.

Despite the big temperature swing... this system delivers little to nothing in terms of precipitation:

Here's the precipitation outlook on the European model for the next seven days:

Not much! Still riding the roller coaster, though! RK...

Thanks for your time and if you appreciate the site please consider a donation by clicking the link below. The future of TSwails is in your kind and caring hands. Roll weather...TS
