TURNING MORE ACTIVE...
After a sunny (and at times windy) weekend, the pattern is going to be turning more active in the new week. Sunday will be a pleasant fall day with near normal temperatures:
Warmer air will build in as a big ridge of high pressure moves in early in the week:
It will start with some showers and storms moving through early Monday morning ahead of the warm air:
Temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s as the sun comes out in the afternoon:
There will be another round of storms on Tuesday:
Some may be strong, especially in northeast Iowa. Large hail will be the primary threat.
Some rain will linger into Wednesday:
And another round on Thursday:
We'll talk more details and the cold air that follows in my next post.
