Six people were killed in the Winterset tornado and another in a different tornado in Chariton. The NWS has confirmed at least six tornadoes -- an EF-0 and EF-1 both near Davenport, EF-1 near Vinton, EF-2 and EF-3 in south central Iowa and the Winterset tornado -- they're still working out the details on that storm, which was a long track tornado. NWS Des Moines says that tornado is at least an EF-3.
