UP AND BACK DOWN....
Clouds, rain and cool air aloft kept it feeling like fall across much of the Midwest this weekend. Temperatures on Sunday afternoon were well below normal -
There will be some return flow Monday which will allow temperatures to climb closer to normal (with the exception of far northern Minnesota and Wisconsin). Here's a look at the projected highs under southerly flow:
There will be a weak front moving through the Midwest and that will lead to the potential for a few showers and thunderstorms.
Moisture will creep back in and with higher amounts of precipitatable water, there will be more activity around compared to the scattered showers and drizzle this weekend. Here's the projected surface pattern:

Thick clouds and some light rain/drizzle will likely linger Tuesday afternoon:
Temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s (with some low 70s in the south) around the Midwest through the end of the week. It will also not be as active as last week with few disturbances moving through.
We can surely use some calmer days after last week!
