A BRIGHT SPOT IN A WORLD THAT NEEDS THEM....

I'm attending the funeral of a dear friend today. A man who fought for his country and served more than 2 years in a German prison camp. A guy who never lost his faith in God or mankind, a quality I've always admired considering what he witnessed and endured. Just as admirable, he saw how fragile and thin life really is. He married a fine woman and raised 7 really good kids. Money was never an issue for him because he understood the immeasurable riches of life and family. I can hear him laugh now as he tosses in a line in search of another fish. None were too big or small, he just enjoyed the connection to nature and the peace it brought to his world. Willie, you were an inspiration and a bright spot in a world that needs brilliance. I'll see you on the other side...and save a fish for me.
