UPDATE ON SEVERE STORM THREAT.
Temperatures in southeast Iowa near Keokuk have reached 75 degrees pointing to the presence of a strong warm front that stretches across the southern part of the state into WC Illinois. Extreme shear exists over this area as instability increases. There is still a chance strong storms could fire in the next 3 hours, especially east of 218 and south of I-80. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a mesoscale discussion regarding the threat.
