ONE MORE DAY...

The weather has been pretty good lately - at least by December standards. In fact, so far temperatures have actually been running above normal for the first week of December.

We've got one more day of some 'mild' weather before the cold blast we've been talking about comes on in. Sunday will be dry with clouds gradually building in through the day. Here's a look at the high temperatures in the afternoon:

Then a cold front starts to approach the area Sunday night into Monday. This will bring light rain changing to light snow Monday afternoon/evening as colder air moves in...

There's not a ton of moisture with this system and as a result there will be little to no snowfall accumulation. Then the cold air follows. Temperatures will drop from northwest to southeast. Starting in the 30s and 40s Monday...

Then into the teens and 20s Tuesday!

On top of that... factor in the wind chill and it will feel MUCH colder:

Temperatures will once again be cold on Wednesday and we'll back to the 40s on Friday. More on the long term trends in my next post...
