Sunshine, dry air, bare ground, and brisk southwest winds are the perfect ingredients for a warm March day. In some parts of Iowa in particular, readings may exceed 70 for the first time this year. The 2:00pm reading in Iowa City just hit 70! Below are some additional temperatures.

A larger perspective.

Most of these temperatures are 20-27 degrees above normal.

The party ends tomorrow when rain and cooler temperatures return. Here in Cedar Rapids that will be the first time for measurable precipitation in 20 days! What a run...

WE WANT YOU FOR WEATHER SCHOOL..

There's still space available for about 25 people in our newest addition of weather school. We've put a lot of work into developing interesting and educational content with the goal of teaching you how to foresee and forecast severe weather. The small size of the class will allow a very personal and interactive experience. This will be a fantastic chance to see and learn about the most violent storms on earth. It's a robust session with interactive simulations and heart thumping videos! Click on the banner below for more details or, email the fabulous Carolynswettstone@yahoo.com to grab a spot. Would love to have you as out guest.
