NEW EURO BRINGS SNOW TO MUCH OF THE AREA...

As promised this is the new 18Z EURO. It brings snow into much of Iowa and Illinois towards daybreak. By the time it ends late day Saturday much of my area could see 1 to 4 inches from north to south. The best chance for 2 to 4" inch amounts are along and south of 1-80. The most vulnerable spot for 3-4" totals is near and south of HWY 34.

This will be a sloppy wet snow and may have a tough time sticking to hard surfaces, especially when snowfall rates are not particularly heavy. The good news is temperatures will be back in the 40s by Sunday under mostly sunny skies. The snow will not be long for our world. Roll weather...TS
