AND WE ALL FALL DOWN....

After a fairly mild and nice weekend the bottom will begin to drop out. A cold front will push through early Monday and may lead to some light rain or flurries:

That will lead to temperatures staying steady/dropping through the day and it will be breezy:

Colder air will move in and settle in for the rest of the week and quite some time. There may be some light rain/snow on Wednesday with a weak disturbance:

Some light snow may move in Saturday as well. Regardless, cold air is going to infiltrate much of the U.S. Watch the upper level pattern and you can see the blues (cold air) taking over through early December:

There are some differences between the GFS and the European but both are pointing at some real cold. The early December cold snap can be traced back to Russia:

That cold air will travel into Canada this week and then move into the Midwest and send temperatures down after Thanksgiving.

That will open the gates for potential snow as well. For now...get the parkas ready!
