FROSTY, FALL WEEKEND....
The fall chill is in the air and it's here to stay for a few more days. Temperatures were held down by the cold air and the clouds in overhead Saturday. Along with the clouds there were some showers around with a weak, little front. The front will reinforce the cold air in place and lead to the potential for some frost Sunday morning. That depends on if clouds clear...

Regardless, it will be cold. Sunday will also be chilly in the afternoon, but there will be more sunshine!

There will be a greater chance for frost Sunday night into Monday. Skies will be clear and winds will be light and temperatures will be down in the 30s again:

Right now we're sitting under northwest flow in the upper levels of the atmosphere. Generally promoting colder and drier weather.

By the end of next week we're going to flip to some warmer weather and temperatures will be back above normal. We'll have a ridge that builds in and sends temperatures into the 70s starting Tuesday:

That ridge will strengthen even more the following week and summer will likely make a comeback:

That could send temperatures back into the 80s after being in the low 30s... That's October for you!
