GETTING SOME MELTING DONE....

While in my last post I mentioned cool is the rule, I also discussed how we will have some warm days. We got a chance to melt some snow Sunday with above freezing temperatures, but another cold front moved through late in the day and cooled things down.

Monday will be colder and breezy with cloudy skies and the chance for some flurries at times:

Warmer air comes right back in for Tuesday as a ridge briefly builds in overhead:

Temperatures will go back above freezing Tuesday:

And on Wednesday:

This should melt melt away more snow -- snow that's been sitting on the ground for around 40 days now! We do end up getting tossed back down into the cold on Thursday as another cold front moves through:

And we'll continue to play the up and down game as we sit on the edge of the west coast ridge and troughs continuing to drop down out of Canada:

Despite the ups and downs, caused by cold fronts coming through, there won't be much in the way of precipitation. Northwest flow (due to that ridge out west) is usually a pretty dry pattern for us. So we're looking at little to no snow, or other precipitation types, in the next 7 to 10 days:

We'll see how the rest of February shakes out... it still can be a snowy time of year for us!

Hi everybody, I'm asking that those of you who find value in the site to consider a $12 dollar voluntary subscription covering operating expenses and the time and effort I put into the site. My $12 dollar asking fee is the cost of a pizza or a dozen donuts. Those are gone in a day, TSwails.com is here for you all year long. It's a heck of a value and all I'm asking is that if you enjoy the site and see value in it, that you please consider a voluntary subscription. I'm asking $12.00 dollars a year. That's $1 dollar a month or 3 cents a blog. Thank you for your support and consideration. Terry
