A SPECIAL MESSAGE, LET'S GET IT DONE
I would like to thank the 297 amazing people who have stepped up to the plate and made a donation to fund the site through this December. In the past year, TSwails had over 600,000 sessions, which breaks down to less than 1 donation per session. If you do not find value in the site or don't have the funds, I understand and still welcome you with open arms. For those of you here daily, who gain knowledge, or make financial decisions based on the information, I ask that you make a reasonable contribution. Every little bit helps. After much deliberation, I've decided that due to the daily commitment of time, money, and hard work, this will be the last year for the site if I can't reach my financial goal. I'm 82 percent there. The future depends on you. Thank you for your consideration and support the past 13 years. T. Swails
WHAT A GROOVY DAY
I hope you are digging the groovy day we've got going, the sixties are back! Along with the warmth is the unusual combination of light winds, ample sunshine, and very dry air. Look at the stat line in Iowa City just before 1:00 Sunday afternoon. 62 degrees, clear skies, 8 mph wind, and a humidity of 20%! You can't ask for much more than that and they haven't even reached thier high which should end up about 65. Put that one in the can.

Records for Sunday are not going to be achieved, but they are certainly more than likely Monday. Dubuque and Moline are the most attainable at 60 Monday. Dubuque's record goes back 105 years, so to break that would be quite impressive.

Here's what the GFS shows for highs Monday.

The EURO is just a degree or two cooler.

By the way, highs Monday will be about 30 degrees above normal at their peak.

Tuesday look for more of the same but but readings will be a few degrees cooler, especially in the north where a back door front will chip into highs a bit. Still readings should range from 56-62. Take a look.

Itt now appears highs should remain in the 50s north to low 60s south into Thursday. At that time, the first of several moisture challenged systems will bring a chance of some light rain Thursday afternoon or evening. Nick will have more on that in his next post coming out Monday. Meantime I hope you are digging this far out day. Peace, love, and roll weather...TS ON A SERIOUS NOTE, IF I CAN'T MEET MY FINANCIAL GOALS, THIS WILL BE THE LAST YEAR OF THE SITE. IF YOU LIKE THE CONTENT, THE FUTURE IS UP TO YOU. T.S. 82% to my goal.
