LET'S GET IT STARTED...
The new week will start off dry but quickly turn active. Monday will be sunny and toasty:
Humidity will be relatively low once again:
Moisture will be on the move as a cold front approaches Monday night into early Tuesday:
The front will stall out and that boundary will be the focus for additional thunderstorm chances this week:
Showers and storms look likely Wednesday, but there's still some uncertainty on the exact timing/placement of the system. The GFS shows storms Tuesday night into Wednesday, more widespread:
The Euro is showing more scattered activity in the afternoon:
There's the chance there could be some strong storms but it will be dependent on the timing of course:
There will be the chance for some scattered activity Thursday and Friday as well.
In terms of rainfall, some areas could get beneficial totals from thunderstorms, but you can see the differences between the models once again here.
Rainfall totals through Friday on the GFS:
And the Euro:
Still some signs of that feast or famine going on this week, but hopefully more of us can get rain!
