SAPLESS IN SEPTEMBER...
We've spoken about this a lot, but it looks like September is going to finish very dry. There's been a lack of precipitation across the region in September:
In fact, the Cedar Rapids airport hasn't recorded any rain since August 29th, marking the first time that there's been NO precipitation in September in Cedar Rapids on record.
With the current stretch of dry days, Cedar Rapids is in the to 20 longest streaks with no measurable precipitation. The current forecast will likely push it into the top 10.
