SPRINGING FORWARD...

As we lose an hour we'll be gaining mercury! Warmer air is on the way as well as some quiet weather. In the last seven days we've had tornadoes, two snow events, and cold. Under this trough we had subzero wind chills Saturday morning and a sunny, cold day:

We start to get under a ridge on Sunday and temperatures will climb...

The ridge gets even stronger by the middle of the week:

Temperatures will be running about 30 degrees warmer on Sunday afternoon compared to Saturday:

Temperatures will remain in the 50s Monday and Tuesday, peaking in the 60s on Wednesday:

Little to no precipitation is expected through at least Thursday, with the ridge in overhead and northwest flow. That forces the jet stream to the north and leaves us with drier air in place.

We will be watching a storm system by the end of the week/weekend, but it's too soon to know many details.

For now it will be mild and quiet over the next several days. Enjoy!

PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING TSWAILS...

Hi everybody, I'm asking that those of you who find value in the site to consider a $12 dollar voluntary subscription covering operating expenses and the time and effort I put into the site. My $12 dollar asking fee is the cost of a pizza or a dozen donuts. Those are gone in a day, TSwails.com is here for you all year long. It's a heck of a value and all I'm asking is that if you enjoy the site and see value in it, that you please consider a voluntary subscription. I'm asking $12.00 dollars a year. That's $1 dollar a month or 3 cents a blog. Thank you for your support and consideration. Terry
