SUNDAY SNOW UPDATE....
Winter Weather Advisories have been issued into eastern Iowa this morning as snow moves in.
Some high snowfall rates are expected again, especially northwest of Cedar Rapids. This will lead to roads being coated and low visibility. As Terry explained with Friday's storm, you can see the intensity on HRRR's reflectivity:
Snow will fall this morning into the early afternoon. Here's a look at the snowfall totals on the HRRR:
There could be some snow to Highway 30 but there will be a sharp cutoff in higher totals to a trace. You can see this on the Euro's output too:
We'll then see a transition to a mix and rain late Sunday into Monday:
