WORKING OUR BACK WAY UP....

Temperatures were in the 70s and 80s in the Midwest... in early April. It's been nearly three weeks since we've seen these temperatures. The last week has been near and below normal:

Sunday will be a cooler day as a warm front approaches the area and brings in clouds and some rain:

A few, light scattered showers will be possible in the afternoon:

As the front lifts north we get back into the real warmth by Monday:

But where there is a warm front... there is a cold front. We'll be ahead of the cold front on Tuesday and will be dry for most of the day:

Some rain will be possible Tuesday night into Wednesday....

With more widespread rain and thunderstorm activity southeast of Iowa on Wednesday:

Despite the front moving through temperatures won't drop too much behind it.
