The heat will continue through the weekend with hot temperatures and high humidity. With the increased moisture there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. First the temperatures Saturday afternoon -

Dew point temperatures will be well into the 60s... sticky!

Some scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop ahead of a cold front Saturday afternoon.

Most of the activity will be confined to western Iowa and Minnesota. It will then be another hot day on Sunday.
