SNOW WINDING DOWN....

The winter storm which brought up to 14" of snow to Appanoose county, Iowa is on its last legs. Here's a radar from 6:00 pm Saturday evening showing the back edge of the snow pressing slowly southeast. A few spots near and east of the Mississippi could see another inch but for most of my area little additional accumulation is expected.

The EURO did a fantastic job forecasting totals. Here's the latest snowfall reports. Southern Iowa and WC Illinois got clocked again with some 8-10" amounts. Many reports of 6" plus. As expected in my area, HWY 20 was about the cut-off line for the 1" snows. I'm very happy with the way my forecast turned out.

I'm off to shovel for the first time all year. A good solid 4" in my driveway. Roll weather...TS
