STORMS AND... SNOW?!
Rain moved through the Midwest this weekend and led to a few gloomy days. The persistent rain added up over Saturday and Sunday.

Now the focus will change to the next system. A strong storm will move through the country during the beginning of the week. There has already been a risk for severe weather posted for days in parts of the southeastern United States. As of Sunday evening the outlook looks like this:

This is the same storm that will bring rain Monday night through Tuesday in the Upper Midwest.

The models have really backed down on the strength of the low pressure system in the Upper Midwest. So rainfall totals through Tuesday evening look much lighter now.

What you'll notice more from this storm will be cold air that gets pulled down for the rest of the week. A big trough gets carved out in the United States.
