BENEIFICAL RAIN FOR SOME....

Monday will be another below normal day for temperatures with clouds and a passing storm system.

There will be a storm system that passes through the southwestern portion of the state of Iowa through the day into Tuesday:

Rainfall may be tough to come by the further east you go due to drier air in place. Here's a look at the HRRR model's output for rainfall:

The European is a little more aggressive on totals in southwest Iowa:

This would be some very beneficial rain for this area that is dealing with drought conditions:

Temperatures may be held back some Tuesday as well due clouds in place and some passing showers:

The rest of the week won't be so bad either. We'll have plenty of sunshine, temperatures in the 70s and 80s with tolerable humidity levels (for August standards).
